Emma Ramirez is a ceramic artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Her current practice explores light, spatial energy, and materiality. Emma’s work balances function with sculptural presence, often incorporating organic forms and rich surface textures. Her process is majorly intuitive and experimental. Candlelight plays a key role in how her work is experienced, as it interacts with the ceramic surface and space it illuminates. In addition to hand-built sculpture, Emma creates wheel-thrown work as well. She received her BFA in Ceramics from Georgia State University (2025).
